Google fixes Chrome EULA to remove unjustified content
Google has stated that they have now fixed the content of the user agreement for its new browser Chrome.
The company has now removed statements which gave them rights over any content user submit, post or display on or through the web browser.
Google stated that they use a common EULA for a couple of their products and services and this was an oversight they have fixed.
Rebecca Ward, senior product counsel for Google Chrome added on this topic: “Sometimes, as in the case of Google Chrome, this means that the legal terms for a specific product may include terms that don’t apply well to the use of that product.”
