Via show love for Linux with open source Xorg driver
Via has become the latest hardware vendor to show some love for the Linux platform.
The company has now made available an open source Xorg driver for their integrated graphics chips.
It is available as a free download from their website.
The driver currently has no support for 3D, hardware video codec or TV encoder.
But it’s a good start.
