Windows Live Mail now compatible with Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2
Microsoft has stated that their Windows Live Mail service is compatible with Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2.
The company had earlier said while releasing the beta that the browser would crash on using the Windows Live Mail service.
Microsoft said in a statement on this new development: “This was actually an inaccuracy on our end that has since been fixed. Live Mail will work just fine for IE8 Beta 2 users.”
They have now updated the release note for IE Beta 2 to read: “Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2 is compatible with Windows Live Mail.”
However, the browser still has issues with Netflix’s “On Demand” service which the two companies are currently working to resolve.
