IBM announces Mobility@Work for mobile devices
US based tech giant IBM has announced the launch of their new software and services for mobile workers.
The company said that they felt the need to launch such a service looking at the growth in the mobile market.
IBM said in a statement that as per their own research more than one billion people will be connected to the Internet this year.
They have announced their Mobility@Work consulting and implementation services. A company representative added: “The program has been under wraps for six months. But with the attention to mobile-device security, new mobile devices, and considering how companies are trying to save money on energy lately, we felt it was time to announce the initiative.”
Company spokesperson Jan Walbridge added: “Companies need to ask: Will it be productive, does it really add value to our bottom line?”.
