T-Mobile USA plans to launch an Apple App Store like store
Market sources are claiming that T-Mobile USA is working on opening a web store which would work like the Apple App Store.
This new store would be used to allow their mobile customers to get access to third party software which could be installed on their mobile phones.
This store would cater to all the mobile models they have on sale.
Apple App Store on the other hand is designed for Apple iPhone and Apple iPod Touch.
T-Mobile too is planning on a revenue sharing model like Apple. And reports say that their revenue split is very generous to the developers of the applications.
It remains to be seen if this store would become as popular as the Apple App Store has become for Apple users.
