Apple removes I Am Rich application from the App Store
Apple removed yet another application from the Apple App Store which provides third party applications for iPod Touch and iPhone.
This latest application to be removed from the App Store is ‘I am Rich’.
The application was practically featureless and was probably designed as sarcasm to check for the eliteness amongst the Apple users.
It cost USD 999.99 and gave a chance to user to prove that he was rich. Looks like Apple did not like the humor in the application and removed it to show the seriousness of the Apple App Store project.
Incidentally, USD 999.99 is the maximum price that can be put on any application that can be sold on the Apple App Store.
Online reports state that as many as eight people paid the high price for this application. Apple gets a part of the revenue and it is unknown whether they plan to refund the money to the people who spent this huge amount for a useless application.

Oh, you poor wretches who wish you could afford “I am Rich”. You complain and whine, but in the end you are worthless and poor. Poor poor people with no money and no trust fund. I pity you unwealthy poor people. All I can do is stick my nose up in your general direction at your lack of the “I am Rich” application.
