Mozilla Snowl introduced
Mozilla Labs has announced a new project named Snowl.
Snowl is basically a prototype Firefox extension which integrates messaging functionality into the web browser.
It currently supports RSS feeds in addition to Twitter feeds.
The app provides two interfaces to check out these feeds. One of them is like a traditional three-pane “list” view. The other is a general “river of news” view which is aimed at casual users.
The developers are now working on improving the application further by adding more functionality.
They are working on adding support for additional message sources including Facebook, AIM, and Google Talk.
