Mozilla Firefox 3.1 alpha released
Mozilla has now released the first alpha of Firefox 3.1, their first major update to Firefox 3.
It is now available for download on all the major platforms (Windows, Mac OS X and Linux).
They have codenamed this version Shiretoko.
Mozilla Firefox 3.1 alpha ships with Gecko 1.9.1 and they have added on some new features to meet the demand of the users.
It features a new graphical tab selector which showcases page previews. It also has a smarter filtering system for the controversial Awesome Bar.
