Zimbra Desktop with Gmail and Yahoo Mail support launched
Internet media giant Yahoo has launched the latest beta edition of Zimbra Desktop.
This edition comes with built in support for POP, IMAP accounts in addition to Google Gmail and Yahoo Mail.
Satish Dharmaraj, Zimbra’s co-founder and a Yahoo vice president spoke about this new product: “Zimbra is focused on creating communication and collaboration solutions that ease the pain points of traditional e-mail, and switching between multiple e-mail accounts is one of the communication headaches that users encounter on a daily basis. With Yahoo’s Zimbra Desktop, we have taken our world-class collaboration suite and made it available for everyone for use anywhere, anytime, with any email account.”
This is a great new product especially for users who want to access their Yahoo Mail accounts without using a regular browser.
