iPhone Dev Team releases Pwnage Tool 2.0

Pwnage Tool 2.0 has been released for download by the iPhone Dev Team which jailbreaks the new Apple iPhone 3G.

It also works with the Apple iPod Touch device running the latest firmware.

This jailbreak solution enables the user to install third party applications which are not available through the Apple App Store.

However, it does not enable the user to use a different SIM card other than the one authorized by Apple.

The tool is currently available only for the Mac users.

Apple has somewhat managed to reduce the lure of unlocking the device by making it compulsory for the user to activate the phone in store itself.
