Windows Vista has sold more than 180 million copies

Microsoft has revealed that they have till now sold more than 180 million copies of Windows Vista operating system.

The company generally does not reveal sales figure of their operating system products but Vista has been getting a lot of bad press so they are vocal about its performance.

Microsoft stated in their recent revenue report:

Revenue growth was primarily driven by continued customer demand for all products, including Windows Vista, which has sold over 180 million licenses since launch, the 2007 Microsoft Office system, server software, and Xbox 360 consoles and games.

Vista continues to get ignored by lot of corporate entities and general customers who still prefer Windows XP operating system.
