SCO Group told to pay Novell royalties for Unix
U.S. District Judge Dale Kimball has now ordered SCO Group to pay Novell more than $2.5 million in royalties.
These royalties are to be paid for disputes related to the UNIX OS.
This is however much lower than the figure of around $20 million which Novell had initially demanded.
SCO has said that they would appeal this ruling.
Novell and SCO have been involved in lawsuits related to UNIX since quite some time.
