I still have my basic problems with GMail. And I tend to send some feedback to GMail regarding this. And today I found some information on the GMail feedback pages which should bring a smile to the faces of the users!
They have this list on the feedback pages to tackle repeated suggestions:
| sometime soon | address book import |
| working on it | new mail alert |
| sometime soon | signatures on outgoing msgs |
| we’ll try | POP3 access |
| working on it | plain HTML version of Gmail |
| working on it | automatic msg forwarding |
| working on it | safari compatibility |
| we hear ya | ability to save a draft |
And these are some of the known bugs:
| Gmail doesn’t work well in some languages |
| Sometimes Gmail msgs are rejected or marked as spam |
| The screen gets stuck on "Loading" |
| Sometimes it’s not possible to attach large files |
| Spell check’s not checking contractions |
| Sometimes messages won’t open |
| Message threading is sometimes wrong |
| Sometimes attachments are missing or can’t be opened |
