Speakapedia for Wikipedia fans launched

Shiny Development has announced the launch of their new product named Speakapedia.

Speakapedia is designed for the Mac OS X and it converts Wikipedia Articles into spoken word tracks which are added to Apple iTunes.

The application would cost $14.95. Customers can buy it now for $9.95.

They have also made available a demo for users who want to test it out before purchasing.

The application utilizes Apple Mac OS X’s built in text-to-speech capabilities for the conversion of Wikipedia articles to audio files.

It requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later.
