WordPress For iPhone set to be launched
The developers behind the popular blogging platform WordPress are all set to launch the WordPress app for the Apple iPhone.
It would support all WordPress.com based blogs in addition to self hosted WordPress blogs (running version 2.5.1 or newer).
WordPress can already be used on the Apple Safari web browser but this application is expected to make it easier for the user to edit and manage his blog.
WP is one of the most popular open source blogging platforms on the internet. It competes with Movable Type and other hosted services like Google Blogger.
