Mac OS X gains market share as Vista finds little love
Market research firm Net Applications has said in a report that Mac OS X now has a market share of 7.94%.
As per their research, Mac OS X is gaining an average of 0.18% a month over the last 10 months.
This means that Apple’s OS for their Mac can touch a market share of 8% this month.
Linux too is showing a growth as its market share rose to 0.8% of the market in June from 0.47% last August.
Microsoft Windows continues to dominate the market but is losing the share slowly. Windows market share was at 90.89% of the market last month.

If you bother to check your facts, you would see that every OS has lost market share in the month of July, except for Vista, (this included Mac OS) Vista was the only OS to gain market last month, so I think that makes Vista true success. For more details:
