Sun Microsystems launches Java VisualVM

Sun Microsystems has announced the release of their latest software product named Java VisualVM.

Java Visual can be used by developers to troubleshoot and profile their Java applications.

This application has been released under open source license.

The company said that developers can learn about their JAVA based applications using this tool while running the Java Virtual Machine.

Sun representative said in a blog post: “After eight months of frantic development since VisualVM Preview 1 was released, I’m happy to announce the general availability of JDK 6 Update 7 Java VisualVM and VisualVM 1.0.”
