Microsoft launches Vista Compatibility Center!
Microsoft still feels that they need to get people to check for Vista compatibility in case they wish to upgrade from Windows XP.
The company has launched their Vista Compatibility Center which is designed to allow prospective users to check the hardware/software for compatibility with the not so new operating system.
Michael Keigley spoke about the launch: “At the launch of Vista, there’s no denying we had incompatibilities in the system.”
Vista is still not seen as an essential upgrade by most corporate entities through Microsoft claims otherwise.
A lot of customers are upset with the company for stopping the sale of the Windows XP OS (with few exceptions).
Unlike Microsoft, Apple seems to have moved on from the launch of Mac OS X Leopard as they are working hard on the next major release Mac OS X Snow Leopard.
Little is known about the new innovations in the Windows 7 which would take over from Windows Vista in 2010.
At the time of posting this article, the Center was not working.
