Google Android powered phones delayed
Google’s mobile platform Android is still under heavy development and the phones to be powered by this platform are now delayed till the end of the year.
These phones were expected to be released around the second half of the year.
Google said that they are now delayed to the fourth quarter of 2008.
A company representative said: “This is where the pain happens – we’re very, very close.”
Google is working with more than 30 partners on this project.
They have been showing prototypes of the phones powered by the Android platform in the recent weeks. They look very promising… A few months of delay should not be a problem if they can come out with excellent products.
