Skype 4.0 focused on enhancing video functionality

Popular VoIP application Skype is scheduled to get a major update.

Skype 4 is going to be focused on improvement of video functionality.

Skype President Josh Silverman calls this new edition the biggest release in the history of this application.

The service enables the user to do video chat in full screen mode.

For the time being, it is limited to one-to-one video chats. The application can handle 25 participants on the same call with voice.

The application has also been improved to enable the user to import his contacts from services like Outlook, Outlook Express, Hotmail and Yahoo Mail.
