JBoss Java middleware now available on Amazon.com EC2
Linux Company Red Hat has announced that they are now making available JBoss Java middleware through the Amazon’s Elastic Compute Cloud.
This comes eight months after the company made available its Enterprise Linux on the Amazon’s infrastructure.
Red Hat revealed that they would be charging a fixed subscription rate of US$119 per month for JBoss Enterprise Application Platform.
Developers can also pay a variable fee starting at $1.21 per instance, per hour. The fee would depend upon the size, bandwidth and storage of the services purchased.
Amazon would handle the billing for all of these services being provided by Red Hat.
