Yahoo Messenger and Google Talk could soon talk with each other

Google and Yahoo recently announced their newly signed deal which would see Yahoo running Google powered ads on some of their search result pages in USA and Canada.

However, their deal also involved their instant messaging services!

The press release stated: “Yahoo and Google agreed to enable interoperability between their respective instant messaging services, bringing easier and broader communication to users.”

Incidentally, Yahoo has already collaborated with Microsoft to let the users of their instant messengers communicate with each other.

Now, Yahoo Messenger users are likely to get the ability to add and talk with friends using Google Talk!

This is a great development!
