Yahoo rolls back some newly introduced features in Yahoo Mail
Internet media giant Yahoo has revealed that they are rolling back some recently added features in their webmail service Yahoo mail.
These features were causing issues with users who accessed the mail service through POP protocol.
The company said that they spent a week trying to fix the problem but failed to do so.
The problems occurred after the company added new improved features related to spam filtering and SSL capabilities.
Yahoo said that they would bring back these new enhancements after they find a solution to the problems.
Ryan Knight, Yahoo Mail Community Manager wrote in a blog post about this new development: “What this means is that your ability to retrieve from these accounts should be completely restored, however it also means that we will be rolling back the recently added option to use SSL. If you have added an account that requires SSL, retrieval from that account will no longer be possible.”
