Google introduces Gmail Labs
Search engine giant Google is planning to add more features to their Gmail service by introducing Gmail Labs.
These features would be user selectable and would be provided through a new section named Labs in settings menu.
For now, as many as 13 new features are available:
Quick Links
Superstars
Email Addict
Snakey
Custom Keyboard Shortcuts
Random Signatures
Pictures in Chat
Fixed Width Font
Mouse Gestures
Signature Tweaks
Custom Date Formats
Muzzle
Hide Unread Counts
Not all of these features enhance the user productivity. Fortunately these are optional and user can ignore them if he does not find any use for them.
