Joost on Linux? Not in the near future…

Joost support team has been quoted on the Joost forum that a Linux client is not really a priority for them.

Joost application is currently available for Windows and Mac platforms.

A forum post quoted this message from the Joost support:

Hi,

We’re currently working on improving the performance of the PC and Mac
versions available today.
Although there has been demand for a Linux version of Joost, we have to
prioritize our business objectives. As a result, we do not have plans to
release a Linux version at this time.

Kind regards,

Lodewijk
The Joost Support Team.

Linux users are likely to take that in offensive. The open source operating system is gaining popularity and is now common amongst web users. It is also now offered as the pre-installed operating systems by major PC makers including Dell and Asustek. Too bad Joost does not care about this user base.
