Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2 before October this year
Microsoft has said that they are aiming to launch the second beta of their upcoming Internet Explorer 8 browser before October this year.
The company surprised when they launched the first beta few months back.
Microsoft also said that the developers should start adding the new recommended tags on their websites to avoid issues as the Internet Explorer 8 starts getting popular amongst the web users.
A company representative Nick MacKechnie wrote in a blog post: “We are encouraging site administrators to get their sites ready now for broad adoption of Internet Explorer 8, as there will be a beta release in the third quarter of this year targeted for all consumers.”
The new edition would by default show the websites in its new rendering mode which would be more standard compatible. The developers are required to put in a meta tag on all pages to force the IE8 browser to run it in backward compatibility mode.
