Quark announces QuarkXPress 8

Software Company Quark has announced the latest edition of their QuarkXPress application suite.

QuarkXPress is in version 8 now and is fully prepared to take on market leader Adobe InDesign.

The company said that the new edition comes loaded with newer tools and more compatibility with third party file formats like from Adobe.

It also features improved typographic controls, WYSIWYG font rendering in addition to a brand new user interface.

The application is now web friendly as it can export to both HTML and PDF formats. It also supports native Flash authoring.
