TypePad AntiSpam plug-in launched by Six Apart
Six Apart has announced the launch of their open source plug-in to combat comment spam on popular blogging platforms.
For now they are supporting WordPress and Movable Type.
It has rivals in the form of Akismet (from the people behind WordPress) and Defensio.
The company said that they have been using the technology powering this new product since May 2007 on millions of hosted TypePad blogs.
They are expecting third party developers to help them provide support for other platforms.
