BitTorrent coming to every internet device
BitTorrent has announced that they are now collaborating with Orb Networks to enable users to view BitTorrent downloads on any Internet-connected device.
Joe Costello, CEO of Orb Networks spoke about their collaboration: “People are tired and frustrated with the constraints that the media world has imposed on their ability to consume their own media. It’s your media, it’s about time you were able to enjoy it where you wanted.”
Orb is already working with TiVo to enable users to connect their boxes to the PC to remotely broadcast content to portable devices.
Their new partnership would now allow users to stream content from the computers to mobile devices.
