Mozilla Foundation releases Deer Park Alpha 2

Mozilla Foundation has released the Alpha 2 version of their Deer Park application, which is supposed to be the next major upgrade to the Mozilla Firefox web browser. This launch comes just along with the security upgrade to the Firefox, which updated its version to 1.0.5. The organization wants the testers to download the application and submit their bug reports to get closer to a final release.

Some of the changes in this update are:
Software update system to streamline product upgrades (currently disabled– will be turned on shortly for testing)
Faster browser navigation with improvements to back and forward button performance – Fastback
Drag-and-drop reordering for browser tabs
Improvements to pop up blocking
Better support for Mac OS X (10.2 and greater) – Safari profile migrator, Aqua compliance and shell service
Several security enhancements

They have also enabled the Reporter tool by default to help them compile a list of websites, which gives problem in the browser.

Installers are available at:
Windows: Deer Park Setup Alpha 2.exe
Linux: deerpark-alpha2.installer.tar.gz
Mac: Deer Park Alpha 2.dmg
