Amazon launches MP3 Clips Widget for web publishers
Online retailing giant Amazon has announced the launch of their MP3 Clips Widget service for web publishers. Amazon operates the Amazon MP3 digital media store which offers DRM free music files for sale.
These widgets would allow bloggers to pick the song and albums they want to display on their web sites.
They can also pick to display the latest bestsellers or new releases within a specific genre.
These widgets can be programmed to play the clips for as long as 30 seconds.
Web publishers would benefit if the visitor checks out the widget to purchase any item from the Amazon store.
The widgets are connected with the company’s Amazon Associates marketing program. Dave Cotter, director of Amazon Associates spoke about this new feature: “The Amazon Associates Program offers a suite of digital products that make it fast and easy for anyone to monetize their Web presence.”
