Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac gets Service Pack 1
Microsoft has now released the Service Pack 1 for Office 2008.
The company also had some good news for their customers as they said that Visual Basic for Applications would return to MS Office for Mac in the next edition.
Microsoft added that the sales of this Office for Mac edition have been very impressive. Craig Eisler, general manager of the Mac BU at Microsoft said: “The response has been amazing — since we launched in January, the velocity of sales for Office 2008 is nearly three times what we saw after the launch of Office 2004.”
The first service pack is designed to increase overall stability, and provide security and performance enhancements to the suite.
