Microsoft Messenger TV service launched in 20 countries
Software giant Microsoft has announced the launch of their Messenger TV service in as many as 20 countries.
The service allows the users of their Live Messenger application to watch video clips together with their friends.
Messenger TV would offer video clips from MSN Video from sources like MTV and Sony BMG.
A company representative said on this new service launch: “Online video has exploded in popularity over the last year, but to date it has been something people watch on their own. Messenger TV is set to change all that. Watching video online can now be a social experience, as people watch videos together, make comments and share reactions.”
The service is now available in markets including New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Brazil, Canada and Mexico and some European countries. USA for now does not get access to this new service.
