Postini renamed Google Web Security for Enterprise

Google has come out with their plans for Postini which they acquired in July last year.

The search engine giant has re-branded the service as Google Web Security for Enterprise. It has also been made cheaper now.

Google has announced that they are slashing the price of the service by 40%. It is now available for $36 a year per user.

Google also announced a new optional remote security service which would cost $12 a year per user.

The company added that Google Web Security is designed to provide real-time scanning for viruses and spyware. It also blocks harmful Web sites in addition to providing the administrators with tools to create Web filtering policies.
