Nokia and Ikivo to work on java for mobile phones
Mobile phone maker Nokia has announced that they are now going to work with Ikivo to develop tools for java development on the mobile platform.
The two companies announced their collaboration at the JavaOne conference in San Francisco. They would offer a tool set that integrates Nokia’s Platform SDK for Java, Adobe Illustrator, Ikivo Animator, and NetBeans.
It would also enable the developers to add GUI designs to an application project.
Nokia added that these tools would make it easier for coders to develop java applications for the mobile platform.
