SAP and Research in Motion to bring CRM to Blackberry
SAP and Research in Motion have announced that they are now collaborating to bring CRM applications to the Blackberry platform.
The two companies are collaborating on a co-development partnership which they claim would change the scenario on the mobile platform.
SAP and RIM did not disclose the financial aspects of their deal.
SAP said that they would now be building a version of its CRM applications for the RIM Blackberry platform.
Bill McDermott, president and CEO of SAP Americas, Asia Pacific and Japan spoke about this deal: “This is a major win for RIM and for SAP, but much more importantly for any mobile professional that works anywhere in the world today.”
