Google and IBM are going to collaborate on cloud computing
Search engine giant Google is collaborating with tech giant IBM on cloud computing initiatives.
The two companies said that they are now expanding their earlier deal related to a joint research project.
Google CEO Eric Schmidt added: “Cloud computing is the story of our lifetime. Eventually all devices will be on the network.”
IBM CEO Sam Palmisano said: “It is the first time we have taken something from the consumer arena and applied it to the enterprise.”
Both the companies are rivals of software giant Microsoft and this collaboration would further deepen their rivalry.
