Yahoo Buzz launches widgets and RSS

Yahoo’s recently launched Digg challenger Yahoo Buzz has added some new features.

They are now offering widgets and the much needed RSS feeds to support their service.

The service is currently in beta and offers content from a limited number of web sites.

Users are now allowed to generate widgets as per their requirement through a web based wizard.

They can then embed these widgets in to their own web pages. RSS functionality is also now available which is very crucial to stay connected to the service.

They continue to accept new publishers to expand the quality of content available on Yahoo! Buzz. Unlike Digg, they only allow users to submit content from a limited number of selected web sites.
