Tibco Software supports Microsoft Silverlight technology
Tibco Software has announced that they are now supporting the Microsoft’s Flash challenger Silverlight technology.
Tibco would now be working on rich internet applications powered by this technology.
They are also going to provide an alternative message platform to the users of Microsoft Web services technology.
Rourke McNamara, director of product marketing for SOA said in a statement on this new development: “We’re officially announcing that we’ve selected this as a technology that we will use. This is our strategic direction for rich Internet applications when it comes to our products.”
The company said that they prefer Silverlight over Flash because the developers can use their existing skills related to Microsoft technologies including C#.
