Yahoo! BrowserPlus revealed
Internet media giant Yahoo! has revealed yet another web service as they work hard on avoiding an acquisition by Microsoft.
Yahoo! BrowserPlus service is online though not much seems to be explained by the company.
The documentation states that the technology is designed to enable the web user to do more inside the web browser.
The technology would make it easier for the web user to install and use web plugins for a richer experience on the internet.
This new application is compatible with Windows XP, Vista and Mac OS X.
There are currently no plans to develop a version for Linux. But they might consider developing it if the demand is substantial.

Could this be a possible alternative to Google Gears which enable the web user to use web applications offline? We would know pretty soon!
