Apple updates Apple Software Update to support new software installation
Apple recently released Apple Safari web browser through their Apple Software Utility.
The update utility showed the Safari option even when the user did not have it installed on the machine.
This was heavily criticized on the web as the option was enabled by default and users accidentally got the browser installed on their machines.
The company has now released an update for their Software Update utility which adds a new section.
This new section is for software released by the company which is not already installed on the user’s machine.
Hopefully, this would calm down the criticism against the company. And let’s hope Apple does not push down more applications for Windows OS user in the future!
