Apple releases Safari 3.1.1
Apple has released the latest version of their Safari web browser application.
Apple Safari 3.1.1 comes with the fix for a major security flaw which was revealed by a researcher at the CanSecWest security conference recently.
The flaw existed in the WebKit open-source HTML rendering engine which is used by Apple in several of their applications.
Apple mentioned in its release that Safari for Windows OS is also affected by this flaw and they are advising the users to upgrade to the latest edition.
