Jaxtr: Free SMS services between 38 nations!

Web service Jaxtr has announced that they are now offering free mobile text messaging service between as many as 38 countries.

This service could save a lot of money for its users who would be able to escape paying the international sms fees.

Members can send messages to their friends using their website.

The service can also be used on mobile devices to avoid paying for expensive international sms while on the move.

Jaxtr Chief Executive Konstantin Guericke spoke about this service launch: “We’re opening up the service — until now Jaxtr has been a member service; you couldn’t call me unless I was a member … with (messaging) we’re opening it up for the first time.”

He added: “If you want to have a service that is widespread, the only way to get it out there is to provide something that people want to share with their friends. That’s the only way you can grow very rapidly.”
