Microsoft SQL Server 2005 SP3 coming up soon

Software giant Microsoft has said that they would release another service pack for the SQL Service 2005 before the launch of the next version.

The company said that they aim to release the SQL Server 2005 SP3 just after the next edition is released to manufacturing.

Microsoft did not give many details on what this service pack would have but it would include all cumulative updates to the software plus some additional fixes.

The company said that the users of this edition of SQL Server had asked for a service pack and they decided to come out with one.
