Oracle launches Universal Online Archive and Oracle E-Mail Archive Service
Database industry giant Oracle has launched two new software solutions.
The company announced Universal Online Archive and Oracle E-Mail Archive Service.
Oracle Universal Online Archive is designed to work at the top of Oracle Database. The content would be able to access features like SecureFiles and compression.
A company representative spoke about this new offering: “We are looking very aggressively at what it would take to make this an on-demand product.”
Oracle E-Mail Archive Service is the other product which has been designed to store content from Microsoft Exchange, IBM Lotus Notes and SMTP-based mail systems.
The company said on this product: “The e-mail archiving market is a growing market for a lot of compliance reasons. This product really grew from a lot of market demand we got from our own customers.”
