Appcelerator Platform now support Google App Engine
Appcelerator has announced that they are now supporting the recently launched Google App Engine.
The company said that the applications developed using their Appcelerator Platform can now be deployed to the Google App Engine service.
The platform is open source and is used to develop rich Internet applications.
Jeff Haynie, co-founder and CEO of Appcelerator said in a statement on this new development: “The launch of Google App Engine is an exciting moment for software developers and will unquestionably be a benefit to the open-source Appcelerator community. Our platform enables developers to create rich Internet applications without regard for the back end necessary for deployment, and App Engine is guided by the same philosophy — remove the need for developers to deal with the server side and allow them to put together outstanding software.”
