Google moving Jaiku to Google App Engine

The developers behind the Twitter rival service Jaiku have revealed that they are now moving the service to Google App Engine.

Jaiku said in a blog post that they aim to become one of the major applications to be powered by this platform which was just recently announced.

Google App Engine allows third party developers to code their application and run them on Google Infrastructure.

The service enables them to ‘leverage powerful Google technologies and scale up to millions of users without infrastructure headaches.’
