Adobe TV to complement Adobe Media Player
Adobe has announced the launch of their Adobe Media Player application which is based on their Air technology.
The company also launched Adobe TV which is a web based service which would complement Adobe Media Player.
Adobe said that this new platform provides “exciting new ways for viewers to discover and interact with their favorite content”.
The company said that the Adobe Media Player application is capable of high-quality playback of streamed, downloaded or locally stored video in Adobe’s Flash Video or in H.264 formats.
They are currently providing content from several companies like CBS, MTV Networks, Universal Music Group, PBS, CondeNet and Scripps Networks.
