Adobe Media Player 1.0 released
Adobe has finally come out with their own digital media player named AMP (Adobe Media Player).
The player is in version 1.0 now and it is based on their Adobe Air technology.
This technology makes the player platform independent though Linux support is a bit shaky at the moment.
The content provided through the service is free and would be supported by online advertising.
Users are able to search for their favorite content and even subscribe to particular shows.
The content would be offered for streaming or downloading depending upon the choice of the content provider.
