Apple Final Cut Server now shipping
Apple has said that they have finally started shipping their Final Cut Server product.
The company said that this new product is “a powerful software solution for media asset management and work-flow automation.”
Final Cut Server is a scalable server technology which automatically catalogs collections of assets.
It also provides searching of content across a variety of hard disks and network volumes.
Apple added that the server would also enable a user to view, annotate and approve content from a workstation.
Rob Schoeben, vice president of applications product marketing at Apple added that this server product would make collaborative projects easier for the users of Final Cut Studio.
